Once a home care provider is added to the registry, their name will be placed on a list and mailed to IHSS consumers who are looking to hire a home care provider. In-Home Supportive Services is a home care program that prioritizes the safety of older adults, dependent adults, and minors in their own homes. If you receive In-Home Supportive Services or Medicaid waiver income for the care of an individual you live with, you will exclude this from your federal AGI.
